Who We Serve

The men and women who turn to Chrysalis often have multiple barriers to finding employment. Chrysalis’ mission is to help remove these barriers and provide them with the tools and support needed to find and retain employment. For our clients, a job makes all the difference.
 
Snapshot of Client Demographics:

  • 100% of our clients are homeless and/or low-income individuals.
  • 52% of our clients have not received a high school diploma or GED.
  • 46% are ex-felons and 70% have been incarcerated.
  • 70% have participated or are participating in substance abuse programs.
  • 67% are male and 33% are female, many of whom have been victims of domestic violence.

The average cost of our program is $2,000 per client. Chrysalis provides you with the opportunity to support a client for a year, six months, one month, or one week—whatever level of support that is right for you is greatly appreciated. Your Donation enables Chrysalis to maintain the high level of service and innovative programs for the 400 men and women we serve each day.
