Butterfly Ball - 2011
10 Years. 1 Night. Thousands of Lives Changed.
On June 11, 2011, the Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball celebrated its tenth anniversary and welcomed over 700 attendees at the Mandeville Canyon Estate of Susan Harris. The premier Hollywood fundraiser brought executives and artists from film,
television and music together and raised over $1 million to directly support Chrysalis employment programs.
The inspirational evening was co-chaired by Butterfly Ball founder Rebecca Gayheart-Dane, Rick Hess, Donna Langley and Dana Walden. This year’s honorees included activist and actress, Olivia Wilde; founder and head of Stuber Pictures, Scott Stuber; and WME board member, Richard Weitz. Notably, Scott Stuber was the first honoree at the inaugural Butterfly Ball in 2002.
Hosted by Tom Arnold, the program included a live performance by Fitz and the Tantrums, and commenced with a surprise performance by LL Cool J. With the generous support of the community, Chrysalis can continue to serve clients across Los Angeles County throughout the year.
