Title:   Site Director, Valley Office (in Pacoima)
Supervisor:    VP, Client Services

FUNCTION
Working in partnership with Employment staff and volunteers, the Site Director plans, manages, tracks, and carries out the Employment Program in Chrysalis's Valley office, located in Pacoima. Responsible for the management of the Valley staff, site, grants, and volunteers, the Site Director also serves as liaison to the local community and develops and nurtures partnerships with local agencies the purposes of outreach and client service.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Supervises and manages Employment staff at our Valley site to deliver client services and achieve Employment Program outcomes.

•  Facilitates weekly Case Conference and Staff Meetings.

•  Supports and supervises staff in providing services, works with clients, and assures staff training needs are met.

•  Plans and implements course curricula and client services, participates in curricula development and planning, and leads staff and volunteer training.

•  Manages communication with Chrysalis Enterprises (Chrysalis Works and Chrysalis Staffing) staff as related to grant accountabilities and client needs.

•  Identifies and assists in the recruitment of volunteers necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Employment Program.

•  Ensures staff utilization of data systems for case managing clients and tracking services. Creates and analyzes reports to track program statistics. Assists in the development of program reports, evaluations, and other data collection and provides both numerical and anecdotal data to meet funder requirements and other needs.

•  Develops annual program and outreach plans, including goals, objectives, strategies, and evaluation. Monitors budget and implementation of the plan.

•  Meets monthly with VP or Client Services, Grants Coordinator and other Site Directors to carry out departmental goals and determine long-range plans.

•  Provides tours of the Valley site and represents Chrysalis to area stakeholders. Builds and maintains relationships with various partner agencies and service providers.

•  Manages Valley facility in partnership with Director of Operations.

•  Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

•  Minimum 3-5 years in program delivery and management, including both direct client service and staff and volunteer supervision, training, and mentoring.

•  Bilingual English/Spanish required.

•  Excellent interpersonal skills.

•  Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills.

•  Must have excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

•  Computer literacy required. Must be proficient in Internet research, Word, Excel and database programs and be willing to learn other applications.

•  Demonstrated commitment to the needs of low-income people.

•  Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
