Chrysalis Announces New Board Chairman

Los Angeles, CA , Jan. 30th, 2007 — Chrysalis is pleased to announce that Robert Hart  has been elected the new Chair man of the Board  of Directors. Hart is President & CEO of KW Multifamily Management Group and has long been an active member of Chrysalis’s Board. He succeeds Timothy Dubois, President of The Edward Thomas Companies, who stepped down as the Board chairman after serving a 5 year term.

Hart assumes the chairmanship with expert professional experience and a unparallel commitment to Chrysalis. At KW Multifamily, a division of Kennedy Wilson, Hart is responsible for acquisitions, asset management and dispositions of all multifamily assets in the Western region. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President for Heitman Capital Management. Hart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, M A , and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Chrysalis is the only independent non-profit organization in Los Angeles County exclusively dedicated to helping individuals escape poverty and homelessness through employment opportunities. Chrysalis helps over 2,300 clients per year develop the skills they need to get jobs and attain economic independence.  93% of those who complete Chrysalis’s Job Readiness Curriculum find work, achieve self-sufficiency through employment, and attain a future of hope.  Chrysalis currently provides services through locations in Santa Monica, Downtown Los Angeles (Skid Row), and Pacoima.
