The Chrysalis Dinner

Saturday, June 14  |  6 p.m.
Address provided upon registration

You are invited to an evening of transformation through food, music, and stories benefitting Chrysalis.

Transformation happens through quiet moments of progress. And at Chrysalis, these happen because you care and make it possible for our doors to be open. It is in the morning that someone woke up early for their first day at a new job after months in a shelter. It is the day when another person moved into their own apartment, with groceries in the fridge and their name on the lease. And it is when the parent was finally able to pay the electric bill before it was past due—and simultaneously felt pride and relief.

Your support meant that when clients walked through our doors—often uncertain, often exhausted—they found more than help. They found a path. A plan. A belief that their lives would transform.

About The Chrysalis Dinner

Enjoy a cocktail hour followed by a three-course dinner on the lawn of the home of Susan Harris and Chrysalis Board Member, Hayward Kaiser. It is our honor to welcome you to this beautiful estate where our Butterfly Ball had been hosted for decades before moving this year to The Beehive this fall.

The evening will feature outstanding vocal performances with singers telling the story of transformation through opera arias and beloved musical scores.

A note about foundation and donor advised funds:

Please note that the IRS prohibits the use of Foundation or Donor Advised Funds where more than an incidental benefit is received by the donor in return (e.g. event table/tickets, purchase of auction items). This prohibition applies regardless of whether the donor pays separately for the benefits received (i.e. the “non-deductible” amount). All table/ticket and auction purchases therefore must be funded personally outside of a Foundation or Donor Advised Fund. For further guidance, please consult with your administrator.
